An unlikely musical sex symbol, says the Sydney Morning Herald in its report that thousands of fans of this Dutch born violinist and orchestra leader lined Park Street in the Sydney CBD to meet him. It’s so very refreshing to read of such interest in classical music from all ages. Rieu will be performing 3 shows at ANZ Stadium later in the year. As seems to be the case when it comes to big concerts at big venues, tickets are a bit on the pricey side, but considering how ornate the setup of these stadium performances are, it may well be worth it.
