A very interesting management study

The Daily Telegraph reports some rather interesting statistics that have come out of research by Management consultant James Adonis (one must wonder whether he is…). It doesn’t say much for the internal success of a business if these stats are consistent across all trades and areas of specialisation.

Let’s face it, when it comes to the performance of a team of staff members at an organisation, the buck usually stops with the manager of that team. If there’s a disdain for those whom are under his or her wing, and the manager has no confidence in his or her ability to do their job to their potential, there’s no way that the organisation can properly function.
