Ignore all Facebook application requests in one foul swoop.

In “response” to Gordo’s disdain of Facebook apps that he made known to his readership.

I hate them too. Well, most of them (some of the groups are worth joining). And this is how I get rid of them (if you use Firefox, you can do the same)

  •  Copy the following text:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               javascript:function getApps(){s = document.body.innerHTML;var a = s.match(/click_add_platform_app(.*?)/gm);execIgnores(a);}function execIgnores(getF){for (i=0;i<getF.length;i++){if (getF[i].indexOf(‘http://’) == -1)x = eval(getF[i]);}}getApps();
  • Richt click on your Bookmarks toolbar and click on Add Bookmark.
  • Paste the text into the Location box and name the bookmark
  • Quietly and effectively keep those requests to a minimum!!

Or you can make it so much simpler and do what this site tells you.
