I’m hearing on Ray Hadley’s excellent morning show on 2GB that there is another train stuck near the Harbour Bridge, leaving thousands of commuters stranded. People are phoning in, furious that nothing is being done and that they have to find themselves stranded at taxi ranks. Apparently the train will be pushed over the bridge from Milsons Point (the station immediately north of the bridge).
The never ending cycle of shame seems to continue. There’s no plan of action and it merely shows that Morris Iemma is, as Hadley just said, inept. If anybody can convince me that the proposed fare increase is justifiable, given the shameful state of affairs that we are facing, then explain your case please.
