I wanted to start by giving James Hopes a rap. He’s been pretty impressive today - a helpful little knock to help right what looked like a sinking ship in the afternoon, and a tight opening spell of 2/9 from 5 overs, which had a couple of great effort balls in the midst of it. Shane Watson won’t get a look in whilst his fellow Bull is grasping his opportunity by the horns. (sorry - couldn’t resist).

This game is poised for a gritty Australia victory, by the way - Robin Uthappa is a lunatic for letting himself get out as he just did. Lucky that the wayward edge from Tendulkar that left Hayden and Gilly lead footed didn’t come back to bite. And I second Steve’s sentiments in hoping that the left thumb of our chief wicketkeeper is just a bit stiff and not broken.
